MOU:

GEMA-In
order to increase the cooperation network with stakeholder, Economy Faculty of
UIN Maliki makes MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with ASBISINDO (Association
of Indonesian Sharia Bank), East Java and also
with PT. Sharia Bukopin Bank of Sidoarjo. The goal of the program is to have
cooperation and encompass the strategic partner between Economy faculty of UIN
Maliki and stakeholder, especially syaria banking.
The
program held in the hall of Science and Technology Faculty, the fourth floor,
is attended by the head of ASBISINDO, Ersyam Fansuri, SH who represents some
sharia banks in East Java and Ir. Trisna Suryatri, as the Branch Manager of PT.
Bukopin Bank of Sidoarjo and the Dean of Economy Faculty, Dr. Muhtadi Ridwan
(October, 6th).
The
Chief of Committee, Dr. Achmad Sani, SE, M.Si says that the goal of MOU
currently is to have strategic partner as well as a site to get alumni of UIN
Maliki, especially the graduates of Economy Faculty closer to banking world.
Besides, he said, it is also directed to develop and enhance competence of
human source (SDI), especially for students and the candidate of Economy
Faculty's graduates.
"In
that MOU is stated that there has been a commitment to have cooperation in the
field of job training, experts, and recruitment for the job's need," he
clarified.
Meanwhile,
in that chance, the head of ASBISINDO, Ersyam Fansuri, SH explains that the
need of Human Source (SDI) in Sharia Bank is great, that is about 5.000 each
year, especially in East Java area. Meanwhile,
university is so far only able to supply about 30 percent only. While the rest
is from the human source competition in both Conventional banks and Sharia
Banks themselves that is supplied the most from public university.
"I
hope the program of link and match we are developing currently can
connect between the industry agent and education and training agency to be more
intensive. Thus, it can create pool of talent among instructors and
educators to be professional," he said.
Yet
it is different from the Branch Manager of Sharia Bukopin Bank of Sidoarjo, Ir.
Trisna, so far, SDI (Human Source) at Sharia Bukopin Bank of Sidorajo still
maintains from Public university graduates only. Meanwhile, Islamic university
does not look to have SDI that matches to the need of Sharia banking. Whereas,
he said, the chance of graduates from Islamic university is actually promising.
"With the cooperation between Economy Faculty of UIN Maliki and ASBISINDO
and also Sharia Bukopin Bank is expected to create manpower who has competence
of realizing Sharia values combined with managerial competence, then the
quality of competent sharia human source is formed," he clarified.
The
Dean of Economy Faculty, Dr. H.A. Muhtadi Ridwan, in his speech, has good
response to the cooperation. So far, there are about 30 stakeholders/banks
asked to collaborate in realizing the concept of the link and match.
Thereby, especially graduates of Economy faculty, and generally, graduates of
UIN Malang will be used by those stakeholders as part of the competent human
sources," he hoped.(sn)
